Solent is just one of many branches of the Honda Owners Club (GB), which is a club run by the members, for the members.

Our aim is to provide a fun, social atmosphere and enjoy riding our bikes. From day rides and trips out, to planned rallies and nights away, or even just a meet up for a chat.

The Honda Owners Club (GB) was founded in 1961, and the Solent branch has existed since shortly after in one form or another.

We generally have a ride out each week, to a range of biker friendly cafes, pubs and other destinations. Typically these rides are for around an hour each way in the Winter and can be up to two hours or so in the Summer. Rides are typically held on Thursdays or Tuesday.

Additionally in Summer we often hold shorter rides on a Wednesday evening.

Don't worry if you want to join on a bike that is not a Honda - all members are welcome.

Nationally, the club runs a very full rally events calendar for those who are interested in camping, and we have a few members locally who are very enthusiastic. One of the highlights of the rally calendar is our own Solent Rally, which we organize and host. In addition, many of us attend our National Rally each year, and in 2009 won the award for the best branch turnout.

Why not pop down one Wednesday and say hello. If you decide you like us and want to join, then you would need to join the Honda Owners Club nationally, and this would entitle you to take part in any activity or be a member of any branch in the country. There is no further cost to being a member of Solent branch.
